THE SCIENCE OF LIFE

As the science of life, Ayurveda includes, well—everything.

It helps us understand that we and all life are of Nature and must align with its pure vibration, our most profound source. Nature will guide us if we sit within her and listen.

Ayurveda’s central belief is that Nature is a grand, intelligent life force that, when the mind/body gets in tune, helps us operate with great ease. As we live closer to the laws of Nature, we entrain that intelligence.

Its holistic system promotes health and well-being on all levels—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Ayurveda treats the mind/body as a whole, not as a collection of individual parts.

Ayurveda serves to remove the conditions of disease, not fight the disease.

Ayurvedic practice is centered around the 5 key elements -

'Panchamahabhutas' - earth, water, fire, air, and space/ether.

These five elements form the building blocks of nature at all levels -

physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

The human mind-body complex integrates all information through these five elements - sound, taste, touch, sight, and smell. And through this formation, the human mind-body complex forms a type known as 'Doshas' - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The ayurvedic way of living encourages you to prioritize what nourishes your imbalances while reducing what exacerbates these Doshas. Since it is nature's science, and we are of nature, it is natural to restore equilibrium.

When a body is in balance, it thrives.

WHAT CAN AYURVEDA DO FOR YOUR DOG?

Like humans, dogs continuously consume information through their five senses. Canines live in an entirely sensory-oriented world, so a change in their environment can completely transform their lives.

Also like humans, dogs have Doshas too. And the elements can accumulate, and this imbalance can lead to discomfort, disease, or various types of illnesses … no matter what kind of animal species you are!

When the Doshas appear to be out of balance, Ayurveda offers specific steps to regain that balance through lifestyle changes and natural treatments. This helps in addressing the dog’s health and behavioral issues at the root source, supports the length and quality of his life, and even creates a deeper soul connection with its human.

It’s important to know that Ayurveda is not a “one size fits all” approach. A clear Ayurvedic roadmap must be tailored to support your pup’s wellness and longevity, and essentially bring it back to the natural state of balance.

In order to understand your dog's mind/body health, one must determine the dog's Dosha first, followed by a balanced diet.
